How to create a resume with EasyJob Resume Builder?
Create a resume with EasyJob Resume Builder is extremely easy. As soon as you fill in your CareerLog, you are ready to start creating resumes.
To create a resume, please follow the instructions below:
a) Fire up EasyJob Resume Builder. It will display its “Get Started” panel.
From you can either,
i) click on the “Create Resumes” link on the left hand side bar of EasyJob Resume Builder’s main window, or
ii) click on the “Click here to create a resume“ link on the main panel.
b) This will take you to the “Create Resumes” panel.
From there, chose what type of resume (“generic resume”, “resume for a specific want ad” or “direct solicitation resume”) you wish to create and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note that the summary showed after you have filled in your careerlog with your personal and professional information (STEP 1) IS NOT your resume! For creating your resume you MUST follow the Step 2 suggested by the program main window.

How to Create a “Presentation Package” with EasyJob
EasyJob Resume Builder calls “Presentation Package” a resume and its corresponding cover letter, both created “automagically” by this resume software and tailored to YOUR specific situation. With EasyJob you can create personalized Presentation Packages for:

Creating a Generic Resume & Cover Letter

Once you are at Step 2, the first window will allow you to select what information you want to include in this resumé. This data is in your Career Information Database which you enter with the Career Information Wizard.

Resumé Template Selector
Once you decide what to include in your resumé, you have to choose how to display it.
EasyJob includes thousands of different templates (called resumé designs) for your resumés and cover letters. Templates, or designs, are organized into groups. To open a group, click on the folder icon next to its name. This will display a table containing all the available combinations of:
- Style (a fonts and colors combination) and
- Emphasis (Skills or Achievements).
Once you click on a specific design, your resumé and cover letter package will be displayed on the right. These are your real resumé and cover letter (not some generic template for viewing purposes only) that EasyJob Resume Builder creates as you go.
Notice that both the resumé and the cover letter share the same design, making your Presentation Package attractive and professional.
